What to Expect at Your First Visit
The first appointment is the one most people worry about, so we keep it calm and unhurried. You won't be rushed into the chair or handed a treatment plan you don't understand. We get to know you, look closely at what is going on, and then talk it through together before anything is scheduled.
- A warm welcome and your health historyWe sit down with you, go over your medical and dental history, and listen to whatever has been on your mind, from a sore tooth to a smile you would like to change.
- A gentle digital exam and X-raysWe take any digital X-rays that are needed and complete a full exam, so we have a clear picture of your teeth, gums, and bite.
- A cleaning when appropriateIf your visit is a good fit for it, we clean your teeth the same day so you leave feeling fresh.
- Dr. Steve explains what he seesHe walks you through everything in plain language, points it out on your own images, and answers your questions, with no jargon and no pressure.
- A clear plan and an itemized estimateIf you need treatment, you get a written, itemized estimate and a plan you can take home and think about. The next step is always your call.

Insurance, Made Simple
We are out-of-network with all PPOs, and that is easier than it sounds. We still bill your plan directly for you, and most PPOs reimburse a meaningful share of out-of-network care, often a good portion of covered services.
No insurance? Our in-house D is for Dental membership takes 20% off restorative & major work, with no deductibles and no annual maximums to track.
No surprises. You get an itemized estimate before any treatment, so you always know what to expect. See insurance & payment →
